Research shows, though, that not all changemakers achieve this by shaking the earth – sometimes it comes from steady commitment and continual movement forward, even in the face of obstacles and uncertainty. Based on her original research, Kara Exner will share what successful changemakers have in common, their mindsets, and the themes she has uncovered along the way. Kara Exner is in the business of helping more people do more good in the world.
She’s been a professional leadership coach since 2005, working with clients and teams across the corporate, non-profit, and public sectors.
Kara is a graduate of the Co-Active Training Institute, has earned the credential of Professional Certified Coach (PCC) from the International Coaching Federation, and has a Master's degree in Adult & Continuing Education and a B.A. in Psychology.
Over ten years ago she embarked on an informal research project to discover what successful changemakers have in common. She published a book with her findings in Fall 2020. She is a long-time volunteer leader with the International Coaching Federation, currently serving on the ICF Global Board.
