More about the Event:

Raleigh Event:

An intentional focus on the people who will be at the center of any organizational transformation will allow us to be able to realize benefits at a much higher rate than by strictly focusing on the bottom line. An engaged workforce is one that is inspired, feels heard and understood, and is valued. The design of this session puts people at the center and focuses on their understanding, motivation, barriers, processing styles, engagement, and accountability.

Using insights into root causes of individual and team performance, we will discuss how to use our psychometric blind spot framework to realize greater success in managing teams through change, overcoming resistance, and reaching business objectives faster than using traditional OCM methods. We will delve into who people are, how people think and feel, and they behave and perform.

Meet the Speaker:

Caroline Martinez is a leadership coach and has a passion for helping organizations through change. She is Prosci change management certified, a member of ACMP, and is also a long time Project Management Institute (PMI) certified project manager. Caroline is the Director of Organizational Strategy at CEEK, specializes in Organizational Development and Change, and being passionate about culture, she co-leads the Raleigh-Durham chapter of the CultureFirst community. Caroline has diverse roots being part Asian, part Caucasian. She was born and raised in The Netherlands and is bi-lingual.

Prior to joining CEEK, Caroline managed large initiatives at various firms and was responsible for large teams with global implementations upward of $20M annually. Caroline has worked with commercial, state government and federal customers to address organizational design needs and obstacles, create efficiencies in their process and practices, and helped teams navigate change, understanding the change is individual and that the psychology of change on teams needs to be part of the discussion in order to drive change results and adoption.

Caroline enjoys working coaching all levels in the organization and has coached a diverse group of people providing coaching for those new to leadership, those who want to become better leaders, as well as those who have specific challenges to overcome. Caroline also holds group coaching sessions, leads workshops and webinars, and is a guest speaker at corporate events and training seminars with special emphasis on organizational strategy, organizational development, change management, project management, and leadership.

Charlotte Event:

In this presentation we will explore the journey of behavior change and how change occurs on an individual level. We’ll discuss the stages of behavior change, what to do when there’s ambivalence to change, exploring reluctance to change, what to do when there’s no desire to change, and how motivational interviewing skills play a role in supporting behavior change.
